We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional who is ready to take on this Senior Management role at our busy Melbourne Hospital.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, this role will be required to provide clinical leadership and workforce management along with operational support to the Nurse Unit Managers in order to direct excellent patient outcomes. Your key management portfolio will cover;
- Bed management and patient flow across the inpatient areas
- Supporting the optimisation of patient length of stay
- Designing patient services and strategies to improve patient experience in conjunction with the executive leadership team.
- Support business growth and development within the inpatient units.
- Foster and maintain key VMO relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will be an organised, qualified health professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior clinical management role in an acute care private hospital. You will combine your extensive experience in effectively managing human resources with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and set goals and objectives as part of the senior Clinical Services team. In addition to excellent time management, you will need to be flexible, adapt to change quickly, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment. You will also display;
- Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a team providing strong strategic direction and positive leadership
- Relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications in Business or Management will be well regarded.
On offer is an annual salary of $120,000 per annum + superannuation.
