We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Lake Macquarie Private Hospital Allied Health team as a physiotherapist on a permanent full-time basis. You will be working primarily in the acute cardiorespiratory service across both ward and intensive-care settings. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across the cardiorespiratory patient caseload.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset with experience in treating surgical and non-surgical cardiorespiratory patients. You will have a passion for exceptional customer-focused service and achieving excellent clinical outcomes. You will thrive in an acute clinical environment, demonstrate high-level communication skills and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team who is committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

You must bring:

  • A bachelor or post-graduate degree in Physiotherapy with Current Authority to Practice as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with cardiothoracic surgical patients.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work a Tuesday – Saturday roster.
