Clinical Trials and Oncology Pharmacist
What you’ll do
Join our expert Pharmacy team at John Flynn Private Hospital, where you will play a vital role in Cancer Care and Clinical Trials. This permanent full-time opportunity will see you providing comprehensive medication management, optimising patient treatments and leading clinical trial processes within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver patient-centered pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing medication safety and optimization.
- Perform clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offer patient-specific recommendations.
- Compounding, dispensing and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies
- Liaising with various stakeholders, including project management, CRO partners, and internal staff for training implementation.
- Implement clinical trial processes and procedures and efficiently preparing documentation to be used on Clinical trials

What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
- High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office.
- You are team-oriented, enjoy collaboration and passionate about providing specialised patient care.
- Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care and the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding is highly regarded.
- Clinical Trials experience highly desirable, including knowledge of GMP, GCP, sterile compounding, and clean room work
It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
- A national police check conducted within the last 12 months
