About the Role

• Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey.
• This opportunity will see you responsible for key duties including patient scheduling, patient admission/pre-admissions.
• This role is based within our Cardiac Procedural lab and is the first point of contact for our patients and their families you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all.

Your Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Prior medical receptionist or admissions/pre-admissions experience highly desirable
• Scheduling and health fund checking experience highly desirable
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
• Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• A Certificate in Medical Terminology will be highly regarded along with any knowledge of health fund administrative processing.

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate of $32.93 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Grade 4 Year 1)

About Our Hospital

North Shore Private Hospital is a 313-bed acute surgical and obstetric facility which performs most surgical specialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, advanced general and colorectal, urology, spinal surgery, paediatrics and Robotic Surgery. Our hospital offers the latest in cardiac technology combined with first-class standards of accommodation. The theatre complex consists of 17 operating theatres which includes one hybrid theatre and a 25 bay PACU.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
