Ramsay Health Care has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Processing Officer to join our newly established Admin Central Team, within Revenue Cycle Management to assist with national data entry and processing.

The Opportunity
 
The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team is a multifaceted team responsible for managing and supporting the accurate timely and efficient collection of revenue, from the initial patient encounter or service provided to the receipt of final payment. The team oversees a diverse range of operational facets including administration tasks such as insurance coverage verification, hospital admission, and charge capture, as well as accurate coding of services rendered and adherence to contractual business rules, claim submission to payors and diligent follow up on outstanding accounts. 
This role presents a dynamic opportunity to contribute within a fast-paced environment. You will leverage your proficiency with digital systems and data input, coupled with a readiness to embrace new software and digitisation skills, whilst also focusing on standardisation. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks will be key as you collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Key Skills and Experience
  • Digital Systems Proficiency: Demonstrated experience utilising systems and digital platforms, with a strong aptitude for learning new software and digital processes. An openness to developing and applying digitisation skills is essential.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to manage varied tasks and priorities effectively, with the flexibility to adjust to changing workloads and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with facilities, VMOs, patients and all other stakeholders, contributing positively to a collaborative team setting.
  • Commitment to High Standards and Continuous Improvement: A dedicated approach to delivering quality work and a proactive mindset towards enhancing processes and practices.

Desirable
  • Background in hospital administration.
  • Familiarity with private health insurance, including eligibility assessment and understanding of payor contracts.
