About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager to lead our dynamic and rapidly growing team. This role requires a highly skilled clinician with strong peri operative Ward experience, exceptional leadership capability, and a genuine passion for developing others. Reporting to the Perioperative Services Manager, you will work with and support nursing staff in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
About You:
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality care and evidence-based practice. You will need to demonstrate the ability to be solution focused and implement change principles to meet growth and demand.
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Perioperative Nursing
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, inspire and support others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications
- Prior experience at a Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager Perioperative will be viewed favourably.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $66.09+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
