We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Oncology/Haematology/Palliative Care team.
In this role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other haematology/oncology treatments.
- Monitor and manage treatment side effects, complications, and patient symptoms with a focus on holistic care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, haematologists, pharmacists and allied health professionals.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and medication safety guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Current nursing registration and oncology/haematology experience.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of cancer therapies.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and leadership skills.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
