About the Role

In this role you will be assisting in the carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for both clinical departments and external customers.

This will include working in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.

In this role you will report to the CSSD Manager and work closely with an efficient professional team.  

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring qualifications in Sterilisation Services (Cert III) or be currently studying to obtain those qualifications. Any experience within a hospital sterilisation setting will be highly regarded.

You will also bring;

• Previous experience in a CSSD role is essential
• A high attention to detail and accuracy.
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
• Relevant qualification or currently studying to obtain a qualification (ie Certificate III in Sterilisation Services).

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $29.70 + superannuation based on experience level, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
