The Opportunity
The Referrer Engagement Officer is a newly created position responsible for driving referral growth and promoting Ramsay Psychology services across Joondalup, West Perth, and Mt Pleasant in Western Australia. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and specialists, to increase referrals and raise community awareness. The officer will develop and implement strategies to enhance the profile of Ramsay Psychology services, ensuring excellent customer service and contributing to the growth of mental health services within the catchment area. Please note that this is a 3-day per week opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Create and implement a targeted plan to drive referrals, aligned with the business growth strategy, focusing on both medical and non-medical referral sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral stakeholders through in-person meetings and remote outreach to ensure consistent engagement.
- Work with the clinic and marketing teams to develop and deliver tailored marketing programs aimed at increasing referral activity across mental health services.
- Design and deliver continuing professional development programs for healthcare practitioners, either in person or remotely, to promote Ramsay mental health services and generate referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of all referral-related activities within the CRM system, ensuring clear tracking of stakeholder engagement.
- Review and update relevant content on the psychology website, creating assets for medical and non-medical referrers and user groups.
- Provide monthly reports to track and assess referral activity, measuring the return on investment (ROI) from both medical and non-medical sources.
- Partner with the marketing team to create targeted collateral for different referral audiences in alignment with website content.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in business development, relationship management, or sales.
- Understanding of mental health services and the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of engaging and building relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of professionals.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing and educational programs tailored to target audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in CRM systems, data management, and reporting tools.
