The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospital administrator to join our friendly team. In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and will provide a high level of customer service directly to our patients in greeting them and processing relevant paperwork and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls to the ward efficiently and professionally.
- Provide timely and accurate information to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Collaborate with medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience.
- Compile and maintain patient admission paperwork and clinical notes.
- Assist with patient comfort and wellbeing during their stay.
About You
You are an enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to customer service and enjoy working in a busy ward environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in keyboard and Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a hospital administration position or other medical secretary position desired but not essential
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $32.30+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
