About the Role
 

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our newly launched Recovery Support Program and help shape this exciting service from the ground up.

In this rewarding role, you’ll walk alongside patients on their recovery journey — supporting them to achieve personal goals, build independence, and reconnect with education, employment and community life.

Using your advanced clinical skills and natural leadership, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health care while fostering hope, confidence and meaningful outcomes every step of the way.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist clinical support and evidence-based interventions for complex mental health presentations. 
  • Facilitate safe, coordinated transitions across acute, community, and primary care services.
  • Mentor and support early-career practitioners and new team members.
  • Assist patients to achieve recovery goals, build independence, and engage in education, employment, and community life.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions including brief interventions, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed and family-inclusive care.
  • Educate and support families and carers, and coordinate with local services to connect clients with health, housing, education, employment, and social supports.
 
 
About You
 
You bring advanced clinical expertise, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for supporting recovery. You thrive in a dynamic team, championing learning, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement.
 
 
What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mental Health Registered Nurse. 
  • Current AHPRA registration. 
  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing are highly regarded (or currently progressing toward completion).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional, recovery-focused, individualised care.
 
 
Remuneration: On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
