We are seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Revenue Cycle Rule Analyst to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in validating the integrity and accuracy of revenue cycle processes via rules development.
 
• Location: Role can be based anywhere in state with a RHC hospital (Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, or Western Australia.
• Workplace flexibility: Work location negotiable. Work from closest Ramsay Hospital or Corporate Office. A work from home arrangement also will be considered.
• Hours: Full time however Part-time (of 0.8) would be considered.
 
About the Role
 
The Revenue Cycle Rule Analyst is responsible for the identification, design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of business rules. These rules are critical for supporting real-time completeness and accuracy validation of patient data for both reporting and account submission to payors.
 
Essential
 Ability to rapidly absorb information & translate business requirements into logical, implementable rules within a rules engine.
 Confident with technology & proficient working with large datasets
 Detailed orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills  
 Ability to both work independently and collaboratively with business stakeholders 
 Able to effectively communicate at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Curious and focused on efficiency & innovation that drives better results. 
 
Desirable 
 Experience or working knowledge of clinical coding, private hospital patient billing and administrative data collections
 Experience developing and testing business rules using rules engine software.
 
About you
 
You possess a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycles, coding and billing processes, and regulatory compliance. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective business rules.
