We are seeking is seeking a dynamic and professional Career Medical Officer to join the team of our General Ward. This is a busy 47-bed ward where you will have the opportunity to care for patients from a variety of specialities across Cardiac, Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation.
At Dudley Private Hospital you'll deliver quality, evidence-based medical care to our patients. Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals, you'll manage patients under the guidance of the Visiting Medical Officer, ensuring the highest standards of care. There are casual or permanent opportunities available with on call requirements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients across our facility. You will have exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The flexibility to handle on call components along with weekend and evening shifts are also required.
Skills and Experience
- Current and relevant AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
- Previous experience on a general medical/surgical ward
- Demonstrated skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, surgical and rehabilitation patients
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
- Competent in providing advanced life support measures

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
