These positions will be based in our Maternity Outpatients department focusing on continuity of care within the Antenatal and Postnatal Home Visiting teams.

About the Role

• As a Registered Midwife you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive, evidence based midwifery care to our mothers and families, in line with the core values and strategic direction of both Joondalup Health Campus and Ramsay Health Care.
• Acting in a professional manner at all times when dealing with the health care team, patients, their families and the wider community, you will facilitate and promote patient safety and quality care.
• The position will be based in our Maternity Outpatient dept. 

About You

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
• Recent experience working within antenatal & postnatal outpatient care.
• Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Midwifery practice in the workplace
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values
• A keen interest in antenatal and postnatal education.

Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster is essential for this role.

Remuneration

Salary negotiable to the right candidates and will be according to experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
