You will be part of an exceptionally friendly team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our patients, staff and hospital visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for all food preparation and ensuring a high quality of Hospital food production whilst ensuring cleanliness within the Department in line with Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and Hospital policy.
- Maintain HACCP records to a high standard and implement positive change in the department
About You:
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working within a collaborative team, this role is ideal for you! While the primary workdays are Monday to Friday, you will also have the flexibility to work across a 7-a day roster.
Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Trade Certificate in catering/cooking or HACCP Training Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a large scale food preparation environment
- Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
- Excellent time management skills
- Commitment to excellence in preparation and supply of food services.
- Resolve any workplace conflict in a professional manner through the correct organisational processes.
Desirable
- Experience in a similar role within the health care industry.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.95 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
