We are looking for an Allied Health Professional with clinical Mental Health experience to step up into a permanent part time or full-time leadership position.

About the Role

This exciting role will provide the successful applicant with an excellent career advancement opportunity!

As the Allied Health Manager, you will provide professional leadership, mentoring, support and specialist advice.

You will manage a busy, growing Allied Health team responsible for mental health inpatient and outpatient services. You will also be able to apply your clinical skills in the delivery of services for our patients, including some of our various evidence based group therapy programs. 

This opportunity is open to all Mental Health Accredited, Allied Health qualified staff that are looking for a management role. This position oversees the entire Allied Health team, including social workers, psychologists and counsellors.

Your Skills and Experience

Current registration with AHPRA (or AASW membership for Social Workers)

• Minimum three (3) years post-graduate experience in clinical mental health service delivery.
• Previous experience working in a private hospital setting
• Strong group therapy skills including experience facilitating CBT, ACT, & DBT based group therapy in a clinical setting.
• Strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.

Overall, you will be an effective and approachable leader with a natural ability to build rapport and effective relationships with both internal and external clientele.

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
