About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will join the Clinical Systems Program at the beginning of a significant multi-year program to procure and implement a suite of new clinical information systems, including an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

In this position, you will play a critical role managing the delivery, risk mitigation, and integration of the many accompanying clinical systems across Ramsay, starting with the evaluation and implementation of a suite of precursor and dependent projects. Your work will help shape Ramsay’s readiness for our operational, clinical, and digital transformation to come.

This role has the potential for significant growth into the broader EHR project once it is kicked off.

 

About You

A dynamic and supportive leader, you are confident in leading teams, shaping ideas and concept journeys to requirements, solution definitions, build, test and implementation. You hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills which allow you to work well across a collaborative team environment.

 

Your Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading digital projects
  • Experience working with electronic medical records, patient portals, health applications, medical platforms and systems integration
  • Solid understanding of digital technologies, UX/UI principles and industry best practices
  • Experience of end-to-end project lifecycles in a structured environment
  • Ability to effectively manage a project team to agreed outcomes, within relevant governance approaches and tools
  • Confidence in applying structured techniques in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty leveraging scenario planning and risk management approaches

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • PMBoK or PRINCE2 certified
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile ways of working
  • Pipeline, backlog or similar prioritisation experience
  • Experience of working with sponsors, product owners and systems experts in greenfield or early concept environments
  • Significant change management or transformation experience
