About the role

As an experienced Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee our 48 bed Ramsay Clinic Beleura Mental Health Unit which specialises in General Psychiatry and Addictions. This brand-new unit is beautifully appointed with state-of-the-art facilities.

You will coordinate the clinical operations of the unit, including managing a vibrant team of nursing and allied health professionals, and facilitating safe and therapeutic admissions for our patients. This is a comprehensive management role which will include being an active contributor to our Quality and Risk, Patient Safety and other Clinical committees.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset, with recent management experience in inpatient psychiatry.

You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent patient care and customer service.

Essential criteria;

• Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
• Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
• Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $64.48 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Our Hospital

Ramsay Clinic Beleura, located at Beleura Private Hospital, is a 48-bed mental health unit offering care for general adult and addictions patients. The unit is a new state of the art Mental Health facility with a great team of nursing and allied health staff providing person centred care to our patients.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
