Permanent part-time Oncology Nurse Educator to join our Warringal Private Hospital team!

 

About the Role

The successful candidate will act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of oncology, haematology and medical nursing.

The Oncology/Haematology/Medical Nurse Educator role will also demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills within our Sutherland Ward, a combined Medical & Oncology unit, as well as our Day Oncology Centre.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post graduate experience in an acute healthcare setting
  • Relevant post-graduation qualifications plus 12 months experience working in the oncology clinical specialty area
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
  • Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $47.55 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
