Permanent part-time leadership position within our High Dependency Unit.

 

About the Role

We are now recruiting for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at The Avenue Hospital. In this role, you will be joining the dedicated team on our High Dependency Unit, caring for orthopaedic and bariatric post operative patients.

The successful candidate will have management aspirations, or prior experience, to step into a key leadership role.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will hold the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of client care and service.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience in acute care
  • Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Current clinical experience working in HDU or similar role essential
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development.

The flexibility to work 7-day rotating shifts including weekend and night shifts will also be key for this role.

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $54.55 - $56.35 + superannuation, based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (VIC ANUM Year 1 – 2).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
