About the Roles

Our team at Wollongong Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 10-bedded ICU.

Our unit oversees numerous specialties including: cardiothoracic, neuro surgery, vascular, plastics and general surgery.  

Previous experience in an ICU, CCU, HDU or ED setting strongly regarded. Alternatively, experience in any of the above specialties or a strong desire to learn is required.

Your Skills and Experience

Your understanding of scope of practice and positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required.

In addition, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to care for our patients in line with our Ramsay core values.

Essential:

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a hospital environment is essential
• Must have ICU experience
• Cardiothoracic experience desirable
• Post-graduate qualifications and/or certificates highly regarded
• Excellent understanding of infection control principles
• Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
