The Opportunity
We are searching for a Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our busy Theatre Department, across 4 fully equipped operating theatres. You’ll be joining a very supportive and vibrant team!
Your Key Accountabilities
- Supporting the Perioperative Services Manager and Theatre Floor Co Ordinator in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge in anaesthetics whilst providing clinical guidance, leadership, and education to members of the clinical team
- Provide excellent customer service focus and positive role modelling behaviours
- Providing a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork across the multi-disciplinary framework
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an acute perioperative environment
- Extensive experience in anaesthetics
- Advanced problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience
- Post graduate qualification in the appropriate specialty is essential
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $50.29 + superannuation, based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)
