About the Role

Peninsula Private Jacaranda Ward and Hibuscus Ward are on the search for Associate Nurse Unit Manager’s to join our supportive team.

As a member of our clinical leadership team you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, your role consists of clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to our patient population.

 

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The flexibility to work 7 day rotating shifts including weekend and night shifts will also be key for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Any clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • HDU experience desirable.
  • Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services.
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development.

 

 

Remunerations 

$ 53.22- $ 54.98+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $105,164.80 - $ 108,636.84 

 

 

About the Organisation

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. As a fully accredited health care facility we offer the highest standards of clinical care, patient service, and technology.
