About the Role

North Shore Private Hospital is seeking an experienced, professional Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Consulting Suites on a permanent part-time basis.

In this dynamic role, you will manage front desk and administrative duties, ensuring every patient and visitor feels cared for from the moment they arrive. You will handle appointments, phone enquiries, billing, records keeping and other ad hoc administrative duties while supporting our medical team with efficiency.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Proven experience in medical administration, ideally within a hospital.
  • Experience with Patient Management Systems will be essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to comfortably and confidently work in a varied team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, administrators and non-clinical staff
  • Certificate in Medical Terminology highly regarded

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate of $33.92 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW HPSS Clerk Grade 4 Year 1)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
