About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse at Greenslopes Private Hospital as part of our Renal team. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting.
The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical experience in dialysis, with exceptional time management and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
You will also bring:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA
- 3 years’ experience in dialysis
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team
- Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative specialty (highly regarded)
