We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Evening/Night Shift team at John Flynn Private Hospital
About the Role
We are seeking experienced nurses to join our supportive team to continue to provide our patients with dedicated and specialised care. In this role you will be responsible for providing a high level of clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This will involve assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs. You will act as a floating team member and spend shifts in a variety of hospital departments depending on the needs of the hospital.
This role works primarily night or evening shifts so availability for evening/night shifts is essential.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset with a passion for high-quality patient care. You will have exceptional customer service, confident communication and interpersonal skills. Key to this role will be experience in an acute general medical/surgical environment.
You will also demonstrate.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Peripheral IV cannulation skills
- PICC and CVC competent
- IDC (male/female) skills
- Nasogastric insertion and management skills
- Cardiology experience (rhythm interpretation) - desirable
- Portacath access ability - desirable
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
