The Opportunity
Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our broader Queensland People team, supporting three key hospital sites across Greater Brisbane - St Andrew’s, North West, and Caboolture. This is an exciting opportunity to shape workforce strategies, champion best-practice HR, and deliver high-quality generalist support. You’ll provide expert advice on employee and industrial relations, while also leading impactful organisational development initiatives. What You’ll Do
- Offer expert support and guidance to managers on performance management, complex case handling, and strategic HR initiatives.
- Lead and execute local, state, and national HR projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Deliver training and coaching to strengthen managerial capabilities in HR practices and legislative compliance.
- Drive cultural transformation and lead organisational development initiatives to enhance workplace effectiveness.
- Monitor and address workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies to optimise talent management.
- Provide support in industrial relations, including negotiations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
What You’ll Need

- At least 5 years of experience in senior HR or Industrial Relations roles.
- Relevant qualifications in HRM, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in complex case management, industrial relations, and driving cultural change initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to influence, coach, and guide stakeholders effectively.

About The Hospitals
St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital, located just five minutes from the Ipswich CBD, is a fully accredited facility offering advanced surgical, medical, and obstetric services. With 203 licensed beds, the hospital features a 24-hour Emergency Department, modern operating theatres, a cardiac catheter lab, and a Critical Care Unit (ICU, CCU, and HDU). Additional services include a Day Oncology/Infusion Centre, Renal Dialysis, Women & Children’s Health (including a Level 2 Special Care Nursery), Medical and Surgical Units, and a Rehabilitation Unit with a gym and life skills area. On-site amenities also include a retail pharmacy, radiology (CT, MRI, nuclear medicine), pathology, and allied health services.
North West Private Hospital, just 15 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD in Everton Park, is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric, and medical facility. With 150 beds, it recently underwent a $55 million upgrade, adding new operating theatres with advanced Stryker technology, ICU and CCU beds, extra oncology chairs, and a new specialist consulting suite. The hospital also offers free parking in a new multi-deck car park and is supported by a skilled team and modern technology.
Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited 43-bed surgical and medical facility on Brisbane’s northern fringe, near the Sunshine Coast. It features 3 operating theatres, a 12-chair Day Procedure Unit, and a day oncology unit. As a Tier 1 DVA-accredited hospital, veterans can access care without prior approval. With onsite consulting suites, private accommodation, and free parking, it serves both urban and rural communities, including Bribie Island, Burpengary, and Redcliffe, offering quality care in a relaxed setting.
