As a valued member of our Catering Team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food service by preparing patient meal trays, taking meal orders, and supporting basic food preparation tasks.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Service lines setups and serving meals and beverages in accordance with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
- Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirements.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Working across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Your Skills and Experience

You will also demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (highly regarded but not essential).
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster and shifts.
- A willingness to embrace and promote Ramsay Health Care’s core values.
- Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable).
- Knowledge of HACCP and food handling compliance.

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
