About the Role

Greenslopes Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist Team Leader to join our Allied Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical care with leadership and service development responsibilities.

Multiple positions are available, including:

  • Full-time
  • Maximum Part-Time

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support the physiotherapy team across a broad caseload, including acute medical and surgical inpatients, orthopaedics, critical care, maternity, and rehabilitation
  • Coordinate and manage the physiotherapy inpatient service
  • Contribute to service planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy to both inpatients and outpatients.
  • Oversee administrative functions including scheduling, marketing, and billing for patients.
  • Support recruitment, rostering, and team management.
  • Deliver clinical supervision and mentoring to physiotherapy staff and students.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving service processes and clinical protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and safe discharge planning.

 

About You

You are an experienced, patient-focused physiotherapist with a passion for leadership and service development. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are confident managing clinical, operational, and strategic aspects of a growing team.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3–5 years post-graduate experience in hospital, outpatient, or private practice settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring staff.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Proven ability to implement and evaluate evidence-based practice.
