We are inviting internal expressions of interest for a new Day Patient Team Lead position (3 days per week) to support the ongoing development and oversight of our day programs at Ramsay Clinic.

Reporting to the Therapy Program Manager, this role will contribute to the effective coordination, governance, and delivery of our day patient services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated clinician with leadership capabilities to take the next step in their career while continuing to support patient recovery in a meaningful way.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operational oversight of Ramsay Clinic Day Programs
  • Collaborate with the Therapy Program Manager to monitor and manage program numbers and waitlists
  • Coordinate day program intake processes, including triaging referrals and completing initial assessments
  • Support the development and maintenance of weekly timetables and staffing rosters
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to group facilitators and day program staff
  • Step in to facilitate groups as needed, ensuring consistency and continuity of care
  • Contribute to the development and review of program materials in line with best practice and clinical governance standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident reviews, and governance processes
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, with a focus on safety, integrity, and excellence in care

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration with AHPRA or other relevant professional body (i.e. AASW, PACFA, ACA)
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health, preferably within group-based or day program settings
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Proven leadership or team coordination experience, including supervision of staff or students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Flexible and reliable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, and clinical governance

Requirements 
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months 
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
