Ramsay Health Care is seeking a highly capable and collaborative Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new Electronic Auditing Platform.
This part-time role (15 hours per week) is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare technology and a passion for improving clinical quality, data accuracy, and business processes. You’ll play a critical role in co-creating solutions with stakeholders, translating needs into actionable outcomes and enabling continuous improvement through data, feedback, and iteration.
What you’ll be doing
- Facilitate workshops such as user story and journey mapping to explore problems, uncover user needs and align priorities.
- Turn high-level goals into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria, working closely with Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Validate assumptions through prototypes, data analysis and stakeholder feedback loops to guide iterative delivery.
- Map and analyse current and future states to identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce waste and deliver greater value.
- Contribute to frameworks that measure outcomes (not just outputs) using dashboards and data insights.
- Bridge the gap between business and technical teams through Agile ceremonies, working sessions and transparent communication.
The ideal candidate will bring
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a healthcare setting and with exposure to clinical systems or audit platforms (e.g. EHRs, QI tools, audit databases).
- Strong understanding of clinical audit processes, quality improvement, and accreditation frameworks.
- Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work confidently across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior analysts, fostering growth and ensuring best practice standards are met.
- Proven ability to write user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with business analysis and Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Miro/Mural.
- Strong data literacy, with the ability to interpret and communicate insights using tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, with the flexibility to adapt to different contexts.
- A constructive approach to challenging assumptions and driving clarity in complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certifications (PSM, Agile Practitioner, CSM)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Experience in service design, design thinking, or Lean UX practices
