About the Role
Work alongside a professional and supportive Health Information Services Team and be responsible for efficiently preparing, delivering, and retrieving patient records to support patient care.
You will provide support in various administrative functions.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Responding to general enquires from both internal and external customers, actioning as needed
- Actioning requests for information
- Collection and delivery of medical records from various hospital areas
- Ordering medical records from off-site storage, loose leaf and medical record filing
- Performing general department duties as required
- Scanning of medical records
About You
You will be a highly organised and process focused professional with previous experience in medical records or another clerical position within a health care setting. Critical to this role is high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficient time management.
You will also demonstrate:
- A Certificate in Medical Terminology desirable
- Strong customer service skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong level of computer literacy/knowledge
- Ability to manage confidential patient data through our Medical Records Systems
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $28.93 + superannuation & casual loading, based on experience level and qualifications. (VIC Support Services Skill Group 7)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
