The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality assessment and management services across the acute and rehabilitation wards, as well as through the Ramsay Health Plus Service.

Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will deliver effective, evidence-based care to optimise client outcomes. This role operates in line with the policies, procedures, and clinical standards of Ramsay Health Care.

This is a casual position, ideal for a professional seeking flexibility, variety, and a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

 

About You

You are a dedicated and professional clinician who thrives in a dynamic hospital setting. You bring strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills, along with a passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
  • Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Demonstrated skills in speech pathology assessment and intervention.
  • Minimum two years’ clinical experience in an acute adult hospital setting.
    • Including experience with videofluoroscopy and tracheostomy management.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • A professional and ethical approach, with integrity and respect for others.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
