Caboolture Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and proactive Quality and Risk Coordinator to step into a 6-month secondment role. This position is pivotal in maintaining and strengthening our clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement frameworks during a period of leadership transition.

You will lead hospital-wide initiatives aligned with accreditation standards, oversee incident investigations and reporting, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the hospital.

About the Role

As the Quality and Risk Coordinator, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership to ensure compliance with Ramsay Health Care’s Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Framework.
Key focus areas include:

  • Infection prevention and control.
  • Patient safety and feedback systems.
  • Governance processes.
  • Legislative and accreditation reporting.

About You

You are a confident and self-directed professional with strong expertise in hospital governance, risk, and quality systems. You bring a collaborative approach, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to influence best practice across all levels of the organisation.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in quality, risk management, and patient safety within a hospital setting
  • Proven ability to provide strategic and operational leadership
  • Experience in root cause analysis and incident investigations (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of quality improvement frameworks and accreditation standards
  • High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Remuneration: On offer $128, 960 - $132, 392 annually + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (4RN31 QLD Reg Nurse/Midwife Lvl3 Y1-Y4.).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
