Social Media and Content Manager
Reports to: Head of Strategic Communications
Location: Hybrid - Sydney (preferred) or other metro city
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Social Media and Content Manager who’s ready to lead Ramsay’s organic social media presence — amplifying our brand voice online, creating standout content and driving brand strength that fuels business growth.
You’ll plan, produce and publish engaging content that reflects our purpose, People caring for people, and strengthens our reputation as Australia’s trusted leader in healthcare. You’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to align organic and paid activity across all social channels, ensuring an integrated and consistent brand experience.
This is a hands-on role with strategic scope. You’ll bring creative ideas and sound judgment, use data to refine performance, and play an important part in evolving how Ramsay tells its dynamic story online.
What you’ll bring
• Proven experience leading or managing organic social media for a large organisation, brand or agency client
• Strategic thinker with sound judgment on how social media builds brand, reputation and stakeholder trust
• Strong creative and production skills - writing, short-form video, editing and photography
• Proficient in tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite and analytics platforms
• Data-driven mindset, able to interpret insights and translate them into clear improvements
• Skilled in social governance, privacy, moderation and escalation processes
• Collaborative and confident partnering with Marketing, executives and colleagues across the business, as well as external partners
• Inclusive communicator who reflects diverse voices and accessible design in content
• Calm, reliable and solutions-focused under pressure or during out-of-hours activity
