The Opportunity
We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are keen to develop their skills in a variety of clinical settings and thrive within the quick pace of a hospital environment.
Occupational therapists will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following clinical areas: Geriatric Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Acute Medical, Orthopaedics and Surgical.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Ability to effectively manage and balance a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting.
- Demonstrate problem solving and clinical reasoning skills, considering broader implications and longer-term impacts.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop client centred, occupationally focussed treatment goals and intervention plans in collaboration with the patient, multidisciplinary team, and consulting physician.
