About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to fill two vital roles within our administrative leadership team:

Admissions Centre Support Officer (12-month full-time secondment)

Emergency Centre & Switchboard Support Officer (permanent full-time)

These roles are the first point of contact for both patients and staff, requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. As a support officer, you will not only provide outstanding customer service but also guide and support your team. You will be expected to fill in shifts where needed, demonstrating flexibility and a hands-on approach.

Must be available between Hours: 7:00am – 6pm Monday – Friday.

 

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised, enthusiastic professionals with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will have exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude with a genuine interest in patient care.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a customer-focused environment, strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or a medical practice environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Efficient with the use of the patient management systems highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology desirable

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
