About the Role
Our Fire and Security department is dedicated and driven to deliver services that ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
The role requires an individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to responding efficiently to assistance requests and activated emergency codes across the campus within the department's scope and taking part in concierge duties.
Reporting to the Fire & Security Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring computer-based security, surveillance and access control systems.
About You
To excel in this role, you should be highly organised, which will help you prioritise your tasks efficiently. You should be able to thrive in a team setting while also showing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to handle a 24/7 rotating shift environment, while also having the ability to work 12-hour shifts.
You will also bring:
- Current Security QLD Officer Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role at a hospital (desirable)
- Access Control, & Fire System Experience Desirable.
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills when interacting with other disciplines, patients and the public
- Computer Literacy

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
