The Opportunity
Our Physiotherapists work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for inpatients across the hospital and within Ramsay Health Plus Tamworth.
This position offers the opportunity to work across inpatient rehabilitation, day only rehabilitation, medical ward, surgical ward and outpatient services. Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.
Skills and Experience
We seek highly motivated individuals passionate about patient centred care and who thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team. You will have well developed clinical and communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
- Previous physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting, desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in providing hand therapy services, desirable but not essential
- Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
