About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse to step into the role of Infection Prevention and Control Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the successful applicant is responsible for maintaining the infection prevention and control programs to ensure safety and quality with the hospital. This position is a role model and acts as a resource for all clinical and non-clinical departments in all areas related to the prevention and management of risks associated with infection control.
About You
You will have a strong commitment to customer service, display professional communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following essential criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
- Previous experience within Infection Control or an active desire to enhance and develop Infection Control skills.
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to successfully work as a team member and independently when required
- Excellent computer skills using the MS office suite of programs
- Demonstrate ability to work as a motivated, enthusiastic and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines and services within the hospital environment
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills accepting responsibility to implement and maintain Infection Control programs ensuring safety and quality within the facility, in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services
- Support developmental growth of nominated staff in Infection Control roles
- Obtain a Hand Hygiene Auditor Certificate

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
