The Opportunity
The Contract Performance Manager will collaborate with Public Contracting Managers to identify, develop, execute, and manage publicly funded opportunities. This role will actively contribute to implementing, driving, and promoting quality improvement processes within the Unit, supporting the achievement of Ramsay Health Care Australia's strategic and operational objectives as an integrated health services provider.
What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing a framework to ensure the timely and accurate collection of key performance indicators, while collaborating closely with facilities to gather and structure data for reporting purposes.
- Provide regular reports on opportunities, contracts, KPIs, and any other requested datasets.
- Maintain the public contract library, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects agreed obligations and parameters.
- Submit legal requests, conduct due diligence, and prepare and submit internal execution forms.
- Develop and execute contracts and tenders.
- Advise relevant internal stakeholders on new public contracts.
- Collaborate with the Meditech, Billing Hub, and Coding teams to organise rate uploads and ensure appropriate activity classifications (e.g. DRG version).
- Work alongside Public Contract Managers on pricing, ensuring consistent and accurate outputs.
- Support Public Contract Managers with reporting obligations and KPIs, ensuring facilities meet deliverables in a timely manner.
What You’ll Bring

- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related discipline, and/or experience in managing health-related revenue generation.
- Proven high-level verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels and with external stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of procurement and contracting activities, including the challenges, issues, risks, and cost drivers affecting financial positions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong ability to systematically analyse complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, implement solutions, and prioritise effectively.
- Skilled in undertaking commercial modelling for pricing purposes.
