An exciting opportunity has become available at Hollywood Private Hospital for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech Pathologist as casual.

About the Role

As part of the Hollywood Private Hospital Speech Pathology Team, you will be required to assess and manage adults who present with a wide range of swallowing and communication difficulties

Reporting to the Speech Pathology Manager, you will work within a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. Flexible working hours may be considered.

Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to manage a busy workload is essential for this role.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
• Eligible for current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Previous experience working with an adult caseload in an acute or rehabilitation setting
• Ability to assess, diagnose and manage adults who present with a wide range of swallowing and communication disorders
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Proven time and caseload management skills
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
