The Opportunity
Ramsay is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team at Greenslopes Private Hospital, one of the largest hospitals within the Ramsay network, with a workforce of around 2,500. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, offering expert support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, succession planning, culture transformation, and recruitment. You will play a key role within the HR team, delivering both strategic guidance and hands-on HR support. The HRBP will report to the Human Resources Manager at Greenslopes Private Hospital and be part of the National People Team. Please note that this is a part-time position, requiring four days per week, on a 12-month contract.
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert industrial and employee relations advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, agreements, and policies to minimise industrial disputes.
- Participate in state and national projects as needed.
- Support leaders in their development by offering advice, coaching, and feedback on people management and leadership.
- Conduct workplace investigations and manage complex cases, offering recommendations to manage and mitigate risk.
- Contribute to and implement the organisation’s HR strategic plans and objectives in alignment with industrial instruments.
- Collaborate with leaders to support and drive cultural change and engagement initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- Experience in HR generalist functions, including industrial relations, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and organisational culture. Ideally, with a proven track record in managing or supporting strategic HR projects.
- Deep expertise in employee relations and complex case management, encompassing disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance resolution.
- Strong ability to engage with managers and employees at all levels, demonstrating excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proven capacity to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to interpret data for informed business decision-making.
- Alignment with the values and philosophy of ‘The Ramsay Way’.
- Relevant qualifications in HRM or Industrial Relations, or equivalent professional experience.
