About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work as a valued member of our team in our 47-bed ward with admissions that include rehabilitation, medical and surgical patients. AIN responsibilities are to support registered staff with post op monitoring, personal care, patient comfort, admission paperwork and other tasks as requested by NUM.
The shifts will generally be 4-6 hours and will be in the morning and/or afternoons, the successful candidate will be available to work a rotating roster including weekends and night duty. Extensive training will be provided.

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.
You will also hold:
- Certificate III in Acute Care/Health Service Assistance
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of customer service
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster and available to work Night Duty will be crucial to this role
