Clinical Nurse opportunities PACU!

Permanent part-time opportunity 

 

About the Role

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital are currently looking for clinical nurses to join our PACU team. Each position will be for a contract of up to 72 hours.

This role will involve:

  • Working with a fantastic and dynamic multidisciplinary team!
  • Day-to-day problem solving and mentoring team members
  • Fostering a positive, friendly, and supportive culture
  • Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure department is safe, effective and follows best practice

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum three (3) years’ post graduate experience in area of specialty
  • Holds relevant post graduate qualification, or is working towards
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, clinical problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services. Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
