About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Administration Officer – Maternity Unit to join our respected team. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

 

About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a well-presented and proactive individual with:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proven administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or customer service setting.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
  • A commitment to teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude.

In this role, you will perform a range of administrative tasks in alignment with our Ramsay Core Values, supporting both our customers and clinical teams.

Key responsibilities of this job include:

  • Admission scheduling processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
  • Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients, and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
  • Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.

You will also bring:

  • Previous medical reception and ward clerk experience preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
