About the Role

Greenslopes Private Hospital, Keith Payne Unit, specialises in veteran mental health care. Our dedicated, multi-disciplinary patient care team is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse with strong knowledge of mental health, leadership, mentorship, education and standards of nursing excellence to join us.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership capability in an organisation committed to its people and the provision of high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of five (5) years inpatient experience in an acute mental health environment.
• Strong leadership background and a professional approach to people management.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with managing patients with mental health diagnosis.
• Experience with coordination and delivery of mental health education.
• Experience and ability to mentor and upskill staff re the delivery of comprehensive mental health care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with working with veterans (desirable)
• Post-graduate Mental Health Qualifications (desirable).

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
