JHC are looking to employ a Registrar on a part time to full time basis working 0.5 FTE as Medical Education Registrar, including some clinical work as a Registrar in their chosen speciality to a total of 1FTE. Base salary range before allowances $115,028 - $157,053 (dependent on years of service).
Position Profile:
The Medical Education Registrar (MER) will work closely with the Director of Postgraduate Medical Education (DPME) and Directors of Clinical Training (DCT) with Medical Education Officer to provide assistance with the postgraduate medical education activities including pre-vocational surgical skills, Pre-SET preparation, hospital orientation, mandatory training, a hospital-wide education program, education programs for international medical graduates and simulation sessions. The Education Registrar is expected to provide supervision, support and mentoring for junior doctors.
In 2026 Medical Education at Joondalup Health Campus will be seeking to fill all three positions. A proportion of these positions will include a 50% clinical workload and 50% education role as a Medical, Surgical or Specialty Registrar.
The position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team and a commitment to the welfare and education of junior doctors with prior experience as registrar.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
