This role offers a diverse and rewarding clinical scope, combining inpatient care, day therapy program support, and community outreach work. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role
As a Social Worker at The Ramsay Clinic, you will:
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families across inpatient, day therapy, and outreach settings.
- Support patients with discharge planning, care coordination, risk assessment, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate within a team-based model of care that prioritises recovery, dignity, and person-centred practice.
- Be actively involved in facilitating group programs, including psychoeducation and skills-based groups.
What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for registration with AHPRA (or relevant registration body – i.e. AASW).
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence (essential for outreach component).
- Demonstrated experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centred approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Mental health endorsement in Social Work is highly desirable but not essential.
