About the Role
Our hospital catering team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality food services to patients, visitors, staff, and doctors. As Catering Team Leader, you will work alongside a dynamic, fast-paced team committed to outstanding customer service.
In this full-time role, you will support the Catering Manager with the daily operations and running of the Catering team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading, supervising, and motivating a fantastic team
- Assisting with staff rostering and ordering catering products
- Maintaining high standards of friendly, customer-focused service
- Overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality food and beverages to wards
- Managing catering audits
- Supporting day-to-day catering operations
- Relieving the Hotel Services Manager when required
About You
You will have prior experience leading, coaching, motivating and developing your team to achieve results and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate with influence at all levels.
Essential Skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
- Experience supervising and managing staff across a Catering or Hospitality Department/Organisation.
- Ability to lead, support and motivate staff.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
Renumeration: A base hourly rate ranging from $33.19 - $34.81 Hourly + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Support Services, Level 3).

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
